Bangkok Happy Bowl and Sushi Bar is celebrating the holiday season throughout December with nightly live Hawaiian music, hula performances, and festive programming—including special performances on Christmas Eve and Christmas Night. As the island’s only Asian restaurant offering live entertainment seven nights a week, Bangkok Happy Bowl has become a cherished gathering place for locals and visitors alike, serving authentic Thai and sushi dishes infused with the aloha spirit.
Performances will take place nightly from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM, featuring beloved Kauaʻi musicians and dancers who bring warmth, culture, and holiday magic to the restaurant’s open-air setting.
December Weekly Entertainment Schedule
- Monday: Benson Broyles & Lance Mizumoto — Smooth harmonies and classic island sounds.
- Tuesday: Michelle Walker & Cindy Jackson — A dynamic duo blending island, reggae, folk, and jazz influences.
- Wednesday: Gaither Rosser — Signature island sound with rotating special guests.
- Thursday: Lance Mizumoto — Soulful island tunes and tropical vibes.
- Friday: Falling Down Romance (Diane Rubio & Dan Cruces) — Ukulele, cello, and percussion infused with contemporary rhythm.
- Saturday: Falling Down Romance — Upbeat island favorites and modern acoustic energy.
- Sunday: Bonnie Vannoy & Benson Broyles — Nostalgic classics and laid-back island melodies.
Special Christmas Eve and Christmas Night performances will bring festive Hawaiian music and hula to the restaurant, creating a warm and joyful holiday atmosphere for guests.
Throughout December, Bangkok Happy Bowl is offering a variety of specials to enhance the holiday experience. Tuesdays feature rotating buy-one-get-one-free entrées selected by Chef Paula. Daily from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, guests can enjoy the Big Kahuna Happy Hour. Thursdays are dedicated to BOGO free noodles from 4:00 PM to close. In addition, the restaurant honors Kama‘āina guests with 22 percent off all food and beverages (excluding alcohol) with a valid Hawaii ID.
