Our Experience

Holo Holo Charters Na Pali Coast Boat Tour

We arrived about 30 minutes early at the Holo Holo Charters office in Port Allen.

The rules.

After a roll call by the boat’s captain, we walked as a group from the office to the boat.

Footwear is stored in a locker before boarding. This is a barefoot cruise.

With the assistance of the helpful crew, boarding was a piece of cake.

The catamaran, which was built specifically for Na Pali Coast boat tours, boasts spacious decks, comfortable seating and ample shade, ensuring everyone can find their ideal spot to enjoy the ride and soak in the views. Though no Na Pali Coast boat tour is without its bumps, a catamaran may be the best choice for a smoother ride.

Inside the cabin. The trip to the Na Pali Coast is a sprint and can be somewhat rough. Guests have the option of sitting inside the cabin or hanging out at the front, sides or back of the boat.

Snack time! The appetizers really hit the spot.

Passing Waimea Town on the way to the Na Pali Coast. The first part of the tour takes passengers west along Kauai’s southwestern coastline. Notable features along the way include Waimea Town, the town of Kekaha, the Barking Sands military base and the sweeping Polihale Beach.

Hanging out and enjoying the view.

The Pacific Missile Range Facility Barking Sands is a large military base on the western shores of Kauai.

The expanse of Kauai’s remote Polihale Beach is revealed on the tour.

The Na Pali Coast begins at the end of Polihale Beach.
