Authorities are investigating the death of a Washington woman whose body was discovered in waters off Wailua Beach in the early morning hours of Sunday, September 29th, 2024, reports the County of Kauai. The victim was discovered by fishermen who brought her to shore. First responders arrived around 5:15 a.m., but unfortunately, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
While the investigation is ongoing, foul play is not suspected at this time and an autopsy is scheduled to determine the exact cause of death.
