Koloa Village is Taking Shape

Koloa Village, a new mixed residential and commercial community in the heart of Old Koloa Town, is coming to life with new tenants.

After several years of development, Old Koloa Town’s Koloa Village is coming to life with eateries, shops, services, offices, customers and more. Imbued with vibrant urban architecture that embodies the area’s sugar plantation past, the charming center is quickly becoming a community gathering place for Kauai’s South Shore residents and visitors.

Taking full advantage of the area’s near perfect climate, the open-air center is designed to be highly walkable and bicycle friendly. Adjacent to Koloa’s historic town center, the village is a delightful place for a stroll to discover a growing mix of unique local shops and food choices.

Delicious treats can be found at Mango’s while Kauai Juice Co. is a healthy and refreshing choice at the village. Upstairs, at the open-air Friendly Waves sports bar, locally sourced dishes can be enjoyed along with the big game. Hoku Foods Natural Market, which gained a loyal following at its Kapaa location, is also a nice addition to Koloa Village. And popular Porky’s Kauai is coming soon!

Retail stores such as Del Sol Color Change, Emperors Emporium and Flip Flop Shops are the perfect compliment for this island destination. Likewise, with bicycle sales and rentals, Kauai E-Bikes is an ideal choice for the area.

Now that Phase One of Koloa Village is coming to fruition, excitement is building for Phase Two. The 2nd phase of the development will add 60 one and two bedroom apartments, either for rent or sale. The mix of residential and retail intends to create an urban village where everything is within walking distance for residents.
